MediaParent consultants conduct media education evenings for parents and help to convey and implement media education. The project “MediaParents” trains these consultants, accompanies them and connects them. The goal: Strengthening media education together!
Five German inland migration initiatives – Comeback Elbe-Elster, Heimvorteil HSK, WillKOMMEN.WillBLEIBEN.WillHEIMAT, World Wide Woid and the Wirtschaftsförderung Neumünster GmbH – founded the federal network for inland migration “Hüben & Drüben”.
Volunteers teach pupils about their everyday life with wheelchairs and Braille during lessons in various primary schools in the Elbe-Elster region.

Development of a free online media competence training for educators in pre-schools and similar institutions, which can be used flexibly, independently of time and at one’s own pace. Field-tested examples can be tried out and implemented directly. The project content is still available.
Through the establishment and operation of the first co-working space and the support of other co-working spaces in Elbe-Elster, the association has expertise in co-working in rural areas.
Living – Together – Active – In – Diversity! Together, the initiative “Doberlug-Kirchhain. Ver.EinT.” shapes the local social sphere to bring people together and break down barriers.
The East-West-German Tandem Project has contributed to further professionalising the work of inland migration initiatives throughout Germany and to improving the conditions for longer-term establishment and regional implementation.
LUG2 is a co-working space in the centre of Herzberg (Elster) that creates a platform for new ideas, modern forms of working and networking. In the rural co-working space, self-employed people, freelancers, students or employees can work flexibly and exchange ideas.
Finsterwalde took part in the competition of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research with the City Vision 2030+. Together we developed our vision: “The Sängerstadt Finsterwalde is moving together: Against helplessness – active citizens make Finsterwalde a city of the future”.
