With the initiative “Zukunft Elbe-Elster” (Future Elbe-Elster (ZEE)), “Generationen gehen gemeinsam” (G3) e. V. has set out on a search for the future of the Elbe-Elster district and met and brought together many “doers” in the process.
With the project “BALANCE – Berufliche Alternativen Leben – Alleinerziehenden Neue Chancen Einräumen” (BALANCE – Career Alternatives Living – Giving Single Parents New Opportunities), long-term unemployed single parents living in the Elbe-Elster region received intensive and individual support.
According to the saying “Younger people run faster, but older people know the shortcut”, older long-term unemployed people from Elbe-Elster, Wittenberg and Dessau-Roßlau were intensively supported in their search for suitable long-term work for over 10 years.
